Its a Game or a Mirage?!

Recently I developed these concepts for a game.
The theme, as you can see, it would be a kind of "Egyptian Fantasy".

The main character that I create would be a kind of priest who is on a Divine Mission...
To assist him in his journey, he carries some special items: a Spear - blessed by the Gods; a Magic Handle - containing the powers of the Elements; and a Living-Golden-Crown whose design resembles a Egyptian Hawk...

Oh, and here are some of the sketches I made before...

Well, who knows waht the good winds from the Desert Sands can brig to us, huh?!?

I hope you enjoy it ;)

Character Design to Education!

Hi Everyone!
Since I work a lot on the develop of Illustrations to e-learning - educative softwares - I thought that would be a little interesting to share with you some of my Characters Design in this media.
So, here it is some works that I did to CiaTech (http://www.ciatech.com.br).

This ones I create and develop by following an original and exquisite design style created by my friend - and partner on this project - Andre Zendron (http://azendron.blogspot.com/)

The briefing was a successful businesswoman and a intern in early career that wold taht would be part of the same company...This polygonal-cartoon style was really nice to explore, but I Still think we shoud have have used more "crazy colors" ;D

Now here is other Character Design that I create.

These characters I design for an Educational Game for CiaTeh.
The idea is that the game-story would develop during the period of a industrial-revolution-fantasy days. As inspiration to this design style, I thought about cartoons of the 70s and also the character styles of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker :)
This work was really really Fun to be executable.

And here is some other character designs that I made for other projects...

I really love to create concepts of characters. Whenever possible, I try to explore different shapes, forms, ways and styles to express them - and sometimes, my ideas too ;)

Hope you Like it!
Soon I´ll post more character concepts.

Hugss to All.

Princess Just Wanna Have Fun!

Hey Everyone!
Anyone here has little sisters?
Well, I Have One, and I have to say that is not only really Fun, but was the inspiration for this work that I made some months ago...

In December of 2010, a magazine of kids and children  from Editora Abril, called Revista Recreio (http://recreionline.abril.com.br/), invited me to participate in the development of an illustration of one of the mini-games (a Game of 7 Errors) that the magazine will bring in February... and I accepted ;D

They gave me some freedom to create an image that was funny and childish. (And asked me to follow a style of design they have seen in my PortFolio...)
I thought a bit about what could be... and then came an idea inspired by a situation I ALWAYS saw - every night - when my stepfather tried to get my little sister to sleep (By the way, when she and her friends are together... Its an ENDLESS PARTY)
So I suggested a scene in which a King - in Desperation - tries to put his Seven Daughters to sleep, but hey ... Girls Just Want to Have Fun! ;D
And I send this sketch of my suggestion
(Obs: the green areas, shows where would be the hidden 7 errors of the game)
The magazine publishers really enjoyed.
They made some extra suggestions, and based on them, I´ve made some little modifications. Then, after final approval, I gave them this image. Ta-Daaaaaa

Had a great time doing with this work, and I Really want (and love) to do many more! I hope that this passage in the Revista Recreio has me open some doors for future works.
Now here are some details that I really like this image:
The King, with his Expression of "HOLY CRAP!!"
The Little Mouse on the head of Cat... Huhuhu he looks like a Peanut Curious.
And last but not least, my little muse on this work: my Sister

Well, I know that I do not say to you this as much as I like, but:
I Love you very Much Olivia <:)

The BlackCat

VuoooSh!
OhMy!
Its been a Long time since a make my last post huh...
Well, but there is an explanation for everything... even for that!
After all, I was really busy with a FreeLance that I took.

It was a Project to a Research Center of Biomedicine... the Instituto Butantan (
http://www.butantan.gov.br/home/) - in São Paulo.
But I talk about this in another time...

Today, I´m gonna Show you All a creation of mine - and a friend very close to me, called Alexandre Mercaldi.
This is KuroNeko (Black Cat).
Well, its not a very recent work but, since I want to restart this project, I believe that its a nice opportunity to share with you, the very first concept of this character.
Hope you enjoy it ;)

DuckTelling ;D

In January of this Year, I has the great pleasure to be indicated by a friend, to a Game Developer Company: the TechFront http://www.techfront.com.br/index.php
I contact them, and than I was ask to develop a "Concept Design Test".

The Test consisted in create a character like it was made to be a "partner" for the famous Lara Croft own, but... would to looks like it has came from a "place" like the reality of the DuckTales!
That was Genious! hehehe
I mean, a "Duck like Tomb Explorer/Adventurer"?!?
That was lot of Fun!

And in those 4 racing hours that I had to create the Character, it was really Fun indeed ;D
So, here it is the original Sketches and the final work of the selected character ;)

The Tall one I made thinking about an "more athletic" partner for Croft, while the Indiana´s Hat One was made as a "MaleDuck more like Lara"...
Now this little one is my favorite!
He is more like "I´m not a great fighter, But I reallyREALLY Love Adventures" Hehehe
Almost like an little scout boy - with a fine goggles ´cause he knows how to pilot an Ultralight!
But this was the chosen one! After all, maybe he makes more the "players taste" hehehe
Ta-Daaaaa!!
Hope you Like it ;)
