The Merfolk Lord Returns

Hello everybody!
Here I am, after so many months away.

And do not come with empty hands!
I bring you my new "piece of art"... a "remake" of the Ancient - and very, very Dear to Me - Lord of Atlantis [http://gatherer.wizards.com/pages/card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=405].

For those who do not know, Lord of Atlantis it is a character/card from the more famous Trading Card Game of this Planet: MAGIC The Gathering [http://www.wizards.com/Magic/Summoner/]

And well, I am a great fan of this game for years.
And one of my dearest kind of decks for sure, its the one of aquatic creatures ... more precisely: the Merfolks.

Moreover, the Lord of Atlantis not only its part of one of my favorite decks, but also was one of my very first cards - many years ago, when I was a little boy with only 11 years old ...

Well, enough of Blablabla XP

Its a Game or a Mirage?!

Recently I developed these concepts for a game.
The theme, as you can see, it would be a kind of "Egyptian Fantasy".

The main character that I create would be a kind of priest who is on a Divine Mission...
To assist him in his journey, he carries some special items: a Spear - blessed by the Gods; a Magic Handle - containing the powers of the Elements; and a Living-Golden-Crown whose design resembles a Egyptian Hawk...

Oh, and here are some of the sketches I made before...

Well, who knows waht the good winds from the Desert Sands can brig to us, huh?!?

Character Design to Education!

Hi Everyone!
Since I work a lot on the develop of Illustrations to e-learning - educative softwares - I thought that would be a little interesting to share with you some of my Characters Design in this media.
So, here it is some works that I did to CiaTech (http://www.ciatech.com.br).

This ones I create and develop by following an original and exquisite design style created by my friend - and partner on this project - Andre Zendron (http://azendron.blogspot.com/)

The briefing was a successful businesswoman and a intern in early career that wold taht would be part of the same company...This polygonal-cartoon style was really nice to explore, but I Still think we shoud have have used more "crazy colors" ;D

Now here is other Character Design that I create.

These characters I design for an Educational Game for CiaTeh.

The idea is that the game-story would develop during the period of a industrial-revolution-fantasy days. As inspiration to this design style, I thought about cartoons of the 70s and also the character styles of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker :)

This work was really really Fun to be executable.

And here is some other character designs that I made for other projects...

I really love to create concepts of characters. Whenever possible, I try to explore different shapes, forms, ways and styles to express them - and sometimes, my ideas too ;)
